SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE:
- Clerk To The Town Board -- Town
Board meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7:30 PM in the Williamson Town Complex, 6380 Route 21, Suite II, Williamson, NY. Work sessions
begin at 7:00 PM. Meeting minutes available in the clerk's office or on Town web
site.
- Tax Collector– Town
and Country taxes are collected in the Town Clerk’s Office in January,
February & March. Williamson Central School taxes are collected by Cole Income Tax Service at 589-8441 in
September & October. For school tax information any other time call
the school District office at 589-9661.
For town tax information call (315) 589-8100. For unpaid taxes
after March 31st call the Wayne County Treasurer at (315) 946-5946, additional
information on paid/unpaid taxes can be found on the county's web site at http://www.co.wayne.ny.us (click on
taxes) or call 946-7443.
- Water & Wastewater Bill Collection
& Billing – bills are mailed
in January, April, July, and October. All bills not paid by October 31, will
be added to the following years property tax bill. For information call (315) 589-8100.
- Registrar of Vital Statistics – records on file for marriage licenses, births and
deaths that occurred in the Town of Williamson beginning in 1882
Marriage licenses must be obtained at least 24 hours
prior to the ceremony and are good for 60 days, must provide a raised seal
birth certificate and a picture ID for both the bride and groom, fee is $40
(proof must be provided how/when previous marriages ended).

the Deputy Registrar, Paula Dolan’s home phone is (315) 553-2139.
Certified copies are $10.
- Conservation Licenses -- NYS drivers license needed
or proof of residency, for hunting licenses. Proof of hunter safety
training is required. The New York State Department of Environmental
Conservation web site is http://www.dec.state.ny.us
(check out their listing of hunter safety courses). New year DEC licenses go on sale around
Aug. 15th and the last day to apply for a doe permit is Oct. 1st
of each year.
- NYS Dog Licenses – current rabies certificate is needed to
license. All dogs are to be licensed from 4 mos. old. Fees are $17.00 for male and female dogs,
$9.00 for neutered and spayed dogs (with certificate of
spaying/neutering). Renew annually, can be done by mail. Please
send rabies information, self-addressed stamped envelope and check payable
to: Williamson Town Clerk. The Dog Control Officer's number is (315)

- Notary Public - must have valid identification, no fee charged.
- Certificate of Residence – for attending community college, proof of residency
required, no fee charged.
- Sunnyside Cemetery – Lots may be purchased at the cost of $400.00 per lot.
